I have a quick question for you. I applied to a nurse shadowing program and can pick (almost)any department to shadow in. I really don’t know much about where I want to work but ER, OR, and Pediatrics interest me and I don’t know what department I should ask to shadow in. I’d really like to see the most I can and get a real view at what nurses actually do and make sure that nursing is what I want to do with my life. So what’s your opinion? Where would you shadow if you were looking to be a student. Thanks!

you are not a bad mommy for only breastfeeding your boys for a couple of days. while i’m very pro-breastfeeding, there’s a lot more to it than showing a baby a nipple for all to be well.
you’ve raised them and loved them, which is more than some kids get.

Great post - I enjoyed reading it and I do not think you need to seek “mental help” … the weirdest is feeling sorry for your clothes … but hey I feel sorry for our plants if they don’t get moved around the house too much!
