Its great to come home and ring her and bitch about how awful the shift was and how I'll never go back and how I'm gonna throw it all in and become a mortician, and then we talk, and she moans about her shift in a different hospital, in a different city, under the same DHB and we both get it all off our chests and get ready for the next shift. She went into nursing because of me. I told her not to be such a fool.... She didn't listen.... She is twice the nurse I'll ever be!!! Her patients are truly blessed.... and most of them realize it too... I’m not married to a nurse but my sister is also an RN.

My wife is a teacher, and is excellent at her job. I however, could never be a teacher. I tried to help once by teaching a class at a summer Bible School - never again. I will stick to nursing.
